Who is this qualification for?
The focus awards course is aimed at learners with no formal background in beauty therapy training, who wish to gain access to additional study of advanced therapy treatments at levels 4 and above.
What does this qualification cover?
This qualification consists of units at level 2 and 3 combined to provide the learner with the required underpinning knowledge to afford direct progression onto specific modality training at level 4 +.

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety requirements, anatomy, physiology, and pathology and electrical science, alongside skin analysis and safe practice treatment protocols for facial skin care. Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients, and provide specific aftercare and home care advice.

What could this qualification lead to?
The primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners for additional study at level 4+ in the beauty aesthetic industry. Achievement of this qualification will enable learners to further develop their knowledge and skills by completing additional specialist qualifications at Level 4 and 5, for example:
Level 4 Award in Skin Peeling
Level 4 Award in Skin Needling
L4 diploma in aesthetic procedures

8 weeks course, 1 day a week. 9.30-2.30pm in centre, plus additional 8 weeks for all theory work to be completed.
£400 Booking fee & £99.69 a week for 16 weeks (a direct debit can be set up for weekly payments)
The Booking fee is non-refundable under any circumstances; you may transfer once to the next available date if you give more than 72 hours’ notice. Less than this will result in the loss of your booking fee.
If you have paid in full, please be aware there is a cancellation fee equivalent to that of the booking fee or if courses are less than £100 the full fee will be lost as this is our cancelation policy.
Please be aware when you do sign up to an NVQ if you do drop out at any point during the course, the full course fee still needs to paid.Â
