Cryolipolysis/ Fat Freeze therapy.

The term ‘Cryolipolysis’ was formed by the merging of two words. “Cryogenic” which means to freeze and “lipolysis” which is the breakdown and removal of the fat cells). Hence why the treatment is often dubbed ‘fat freezing’.
The fat freezing treatment has developed massively over the last few years becoming more popular each year. This is a big craze for the celebrities who have been said to use the treatment on a regular basis with amazing results.
Cryolipolysis offers a viable alternative to liposuction. It starts a process called apoptosis, this kills cells, targeting the destruction of unwanted fat cells. It is a safe procedure and is non-invasive. This procedure has no ‘down time’ therefore you can be back at your daily routine straight after the treatment.
Cryolipolysis has been scientifically proven to be a very safe method for body contouring. There is minimal discomfort and a high patient satisfaction rate. Clinical studies have shown Cryolipolysis treatments to be effective on between 20% – 40% of the fat cells in the treatment area in just one session and what’s more the fat cells are permanently destroyed.
Treatment with cryolipolysis can greatly benefit individuals both mentally and physically giving great, long-term results when combined with a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise.
The Requirements
You must have a body massage to attend, but please do check your individual insurance company as they may require a level 3 massage qualification.

Ultrasound Cavitation

Ultrasound cavitation is often billed as a liposuction alternative. It’s another type of non-invasive body contouring method to reduce the appearance of fat on the body.In this method, ultrasonic waves transform your fat cells into fatty acids. Your body can then dispose of those fatty acids — they won’t stick around as fat cells do.However, ultrasound cavitation isn’t technically a “fat loss” procedure. Liposuction targets fat more specifically. With ultrasound fat cavitation, you’ll instead measure your success by how many inches you lose after treatment. If you want a tighter, more toned look, this might be the right procedure for youCavitation is a biological phenomenon that consists of the formation of bubbles in between the cells which implode by the action of a low frequency ultrasound. This creates shock waves that selectively damage the membranes of the adipocytes (fat cells), spilling the liquid fat into the lymphatic system and finally to the liver to be metabolised. It is scientifically proven that after a cavitation session, excess liquid or lymphatic toxins are drained from the body via the urinary system
